Types of Credentials
Essal Institute offers three tiers of credentials to match your academic achievements and career objectives.
1. Government-Accredited Diplomas (Diplômes Agréés par l’État)
These are formal vocational degrees accredited by the Algerian Ministry of Vocational Training. They require long-term study (typically 12 to 30 months) and include a mandatory practical internship.
- Technicien Supérieur (TS): High-level technician diploma requiring secondary school completion (Terminal level or Baccalauréat).
- Technicien (T): Vocational technician diploma requiring secondary school level.
- Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle (CAP): Basic vocational qualification requiring middle school completion.
These diplomas are officially recognized for employment in the Algerian public civil service and private corporate sectors.
2. Professional Certificates (Diplômes Qualifiants)
For short-term bootcamps and specialized training courses (spanning 1 to 6 months), Essal Institute issues Professional Certificates of Completion.
- Accreditation: These qualifications are officially approved under our general state license.
- Validation: Granted upon achieving a minimum average of 10/20 in the course evaluations and attending at least 80% of class sessions.
- Purpose: Focused on immediate skills validation for professionals looking to enhance their resume or acquire specific practical expertise (e.g. specialized PHP Laravel bootcamp, Digital Marketing masterclass).
3. International Certifications
As an authorized testing partner and curriculum developer, Essal prepares students for globally recognized vendor certifications.
IT & Networking
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP: Prep classes held in our dedicated Cisco laboratory setups.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions: Including Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, and Modern Workplace credentials.
- CompTIA Security+ / Linux+: Foundations for cybersecurity and systems engineering paths.
Languages
- IELTS / TOEFL Prep: Intensive English proficiency pathways for study/work visas.
- TCF / TEF Prep: Standardized French exams required for immigration, university admission, or job roles in French-speaking countries.
Enrolled students receive a 20% discount on exam vouchers for international tests hosted in our testing center in Oran.
Credential Delivery and Verification
Upon graduation, your credentials will be processed and issued.
Delivery Timeline
- Temporary Attestation (Attestation de Succès): Available on the Student Portal for download within 7 working days after final jury deliberations.
- Official Diploma Certificate: Printed and signed by state authorities, available for physical pick-up within 3 to 6 months.
Online Verification Portal
All qualifications, transcripts, and credentials issued by Essal Institute are registered on our blockchain-based verification portal.
Employers can verify the authenticity of your certificate at any time by scanning the QR code printed on the physical certificate or by typing your student ID on the verification page at app.essal.institute/verify.
